Sweets have always been my weakness. Whether it’s a cookie, chocolate, or just plain sugar, I just can’t seem to resist the sweet (I know cliché ;) comfort it brings. It’s no secret that there’s a sweet tooth in all of us and sometimes it’s giving in to our sweet cravings that makes a good day into a fabulous one!
At The Cookie Chew, we’ve combined our love of sweets and a serious passion for baking to create chewy delicious cookies, but cookies unlike any other! By combining the satisfying comfort of a chewy baked cookie with the decadent indulgence of rich chocolate, our truffle stuffed cookies, we like to call truffies, create the ultimate unique cookie experience with a surprise in every bite!
Or are you in need of a happy hour without the hangover? Try our line of cocktail cookie bites! Bite-sized cookies mirrored after our favorite cocktail drinks, like creamy white russians, chocolately mudslides or tangy coconut mojitos. So good, you won't even miss the alcohol!

Our Story
I love chocolate and I love cookies but I hate deciding between the two! So I thought, why not combine them and enjoy both in one bite. There really aren’t many things better! Enjoy!
“This cookie looks like a muffin!” It’s funny, I never really considered myself a baker. I’ll never forget my very first attempt at a chocolate chip cookie, the end result almost resembled a cookie but it would probably be more accurate to call it a cookie muffin that may have had a slight cardboard flavoring to it. Needless to say it wasn’t amazing but a love for baking was created. Thankfully the cookies have come a long way since their muffin days, a very long way, but my love for baking and experimenting with different recipes never died. Baking became more than a hobby but my passion.
“Cookies and Accounting… now that makes sense.” The Cookie Chew began with a passion for cookies and a desire for creativity that just couldn’t be satisfied in the world of accounting. It’s funny how when you’re in school, you aren’t really taught to follow your passions but to pursue what is practical or what you’re good at and what will land you the best job when you graduate. For some, it’s all one and the same, which is fabulous, but for me it just didn’t work out that way. There’s a certain joy in being able to put down a 10-key and a life behind a computer to picking up a spatula and getting a little flour all over yourself. Yea it’s a long jump from accounting to cookies, but I believe in pursuing your passions and living a life where you’re willing to risk for a greater reward.
“So you can survive on just cookies?” Each day has been an adventure and an incredible learning experience for me. I’ve learned many lessons not only in baking and starting a small business, but in life and relationships, hard work and how much sleep a person actually really needs and I wouldn’t trade any of it! The decision to leave all that was stable and all that I knew my entire working life to jump head first into a batch of cookies was one of the hardest and scariest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but worth every second. I hope you’ll come to love each unique cookie creation as much as I love making them!
